Ahhh, The Moon, one of the most mysterious, and to my mind, misunderstood cards in the entire deck. It can herald mental and emotional disturbance, nightmares, even psychic attack!
Things rise in your subconscious, ancient life forms (the crawfish) take center stage. By the shadowy light of the moon its easy to misinterpret what you see. Images and information come to you as half formed concepts. Misconstruing signs and symbols along the way you read them incorrectly…and are led down the wrong path.
Often, when the Moon arrives it heralds a time of unrest, a subconscious activated by something it knows not up, just beyond reach. It’s a good time to pay attention to your dreams, to signs along the way, and synchronicity. The message comes, eventually, but only by careful looking and seeing. Misinterpretation is quite possible…
Is there anything positive about this card?? Many people think so. In fact, I Just nowRead for a man who regards The Moon card as his friend. For him the card is creative imagination, thinking outside the bounds, cosmic energy. A bit of night time magic…perhaps the allure of a woman, or a benevolent lunar force reflecting back on him. Reflection is the operative word as the moon generates no light of her own, thereby leaving the seeker to interpret the image. Take your time. There is much room for error.
